Board Meeting

Date: Monday, February 5, 2007

President Anita Murry called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Minutes were read from the last meeting.

Pat Prichard presented the Treasurer’s report. The Treasurer’s report was approved.

Anita Murry discussed band fees that have not been paid. All band fees need to be paid to Pat Pritchard.

Anita Murry discussed fundraising (Kroger cards, Schnucks cards).

All uniforms except for Honor Band need to be returned. All hats need to be returned.

Anita Murry discussed board and committee members for next year.

Mr. Chipman discussed the requirements and benefits of high school band. The Bolton High School band camp begins on July 23^rd and lasts two weeks. He then introduced Chris Kelly, President of the Bolton Band Boosters.

Mr. Kelly discussed high school band from a parent’s perspective.

Dr. Chipman discussed college scholarships available to high school band students, and the benefits of high school band.

Anita Murry asked for volunteers for upcoming trips and concerts. She discussed the trips, concerts, Spring Dance, and Award Banquet.

Dr. Chipman gave an update on the carpet. It will be replaced on May 7^th. She discussed the Honor Band trip to St. Louis. Itineraries were passed out. Trip fees are due April 1^st. The fees are $100 per student and $110 per chaperone.

Anita Murry closed the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
